The
Foot Fantasy massager can be used to massage any part of the body,
especially the feet.
The
massager consists of an elongated cylindrical rod with
a series of Grooves and Ridges along its
length. At one end of the rod is a Stationary
Pressure Point. At the other end of the rod is an Omni-Directional
Massage Ball.
The
three distinctly different aspects of the massager
provide function and results unattained by any other
foot massager.
Groves
and Ridges
1)
Place the massager on the floor. Roll
the cylinder between the floor and the bottoms of your
feet, back and forth allowing the tissue, muscles and
connective tissue of the feet to be stretched, pulled,
compressed and massaged by the alternating grooves and
ridges.
2)
Use
the grooves and ridges of the massager on legs, arms,
hands, neck, shoulders or any other part of the body
by rolling the cylindrical portion of the massager
back and forth across the desired area using the palms
of your hands.
3)
Use
the grooves and ridges of the massager in a sliding
motion rather than a rolling motion. To accomplish
this sliding effect, simply grip the massager firmly
rather than letting it roll across the palms of your
hands. Press the ridges firmly into the muscle or
connective tissue and slide the massager rather than
roll it. This sliding motion provides friction, which
causes heat to build more quickly in the tissue
thereby providing a more intense therapeutic
experience, releasing natural endorphins and promoting
better circulation. This method is especially useful
in the treatment of arthritic conditions, especially
of the hands.
4)
The
grooves and ridges of the massager provide an
alternating, compression and release effect that
resembles the use of fingers and thumbs during
massage.
5)
The
grooves and ridges also provide an excellent gripping
surface for the use of the other components of the
massager.
Stationary
Pressure Point
1)
The
pressure point at one end of the massager is a very
effective tool in the application of trigger point
therapy. The small stationary pressure point allows
the user to apply deep, direct pressure to trigger
points within the muscle and connective tissue. This
stationary pressure point is especially effective on
the bottoms of the feet and the palms of the hands. It
can also be used effectively on any part of the body.
2)
The
Stationary Pressure Point is an excellent tool in the
application of Reflexology. The deep penetrating
pressure applied by this end of the Massager can help
break up the crystalline deposits of calcium and acid
that accumulate at the nerve endings of the feet. This
deep, direct pressure can also help to relieve the
pressure at certain reflex points in the feet thereby
helping to improve the function of the body organ
associated with that particular reflex point..
3)
The
grooved cylindrical portion of the massager provides
an excellent gripping surface while applying direct,
deep and intense pressure with this end of the
massager.
Omni-Directional
Massage Ball
1)
The
Omni-Directional Massage Ball at the other end of the
massager is a novel aspect of this massager and an
improvement oven any other foot massager. The
omni-directional massage ball can be used on any part
of the body and is an iatrical aspect of the foot
massager. The omni-directional massage ball provides a
more defused pressure point that can be used to smooth
and soothe muscle and connective tissue after the
application of the more intense “stationary pressure
point” at the other end of the tool. The
Omni-Directional Massage Ball is used, by applying
pressure to the desired area, then rolling the ball in
small circular motions. For larger areas of the body
or longer muscles, the massage ball can be used in
long stroking motions. The gliding motion of the
omni-directional massage ball provides a smooth
consistent pressure to the desired area without the
use of oils or creams.
2)
The grooved cylindrical portion of the massager
provides an excellent gripping surface while using
this end of the tool as well.
